New Instructional Tools & Lesson Layout Updates
The Michigan Model for HealthTM Grade 7-8 curriculum has undergone several improvements this past year. In June 2024, the four major curriculum health subjects were combined into one curriculum for social emotional health and safety, alcohol and other drugs, tobacco and vaping, and nutrition and physical activity. As a further continuation of improvements, our team of health educators and consultants have released additional updates on 1/10/25 to include new instructional tools and digital lesson layout enhancements.
New Instructional Tools
New full-lesson Google Slides per lesson for teachers to copy or download, new lesson map of student learning objectives and standards, and new lesson resource list for the entire unit with a number count of resources per lesson.
Digital Lesson Layout Improvements
Revised display of lesson content to reduce spacing and remove content duplication which includes a new table list of resources in lessons with Google student worksheet links, simplified preparation steps and streamlined lesson scripts.
